As we enter 2026, we are excited to share what MOBY is building and the opportunity ahead.

MOBY is creating autonomous ocean systems that operate continuously in the deep ocean. As we advance through the permitting process for our long-term goal of deep-sea critical mineral collection, we are deploying the very same technology to generate immediate value, building capability today while staying fully focused on the ultimate mission.

Unlike traditional expeditions, our platform provides persistent seafloor access, lowering cost and logistical barriers while unlocking entirely new possibilities. The system includes station-keeping surface buoys, autonomous underwater vehicles, seafloor crawlers, and an integrated software platform. Each deployment delivers immediate capability, and the network scales coverage, persistence, and access to previously unreachable areas.

MOBY is designed to observe the seafloor and perform precise retrieval, enabling new applications in scientific research, environmental monitoring, subsea inspection, and asset recovery.
